No doubt and $2.49 for a big ol' bomber makes it even better!

For that particular style it is a "go to" beer for sure.

I'm in the minority on this one, but there are lots of Octoberfests and lots of Sam Adams beers I'd grab first. I even got the mixer this year, but didn't really get into this one. There was one Octo last year, I think Weihenstephaner, that was the opposite - I liked it waaaay better than everyone else. Go figure...

Not a fan, my lowest rated Oktoberfest in fact. Even worse I guess is that I'm convinced that the Sam Adams Winter Lager is the exact same beer with a different label. I'm a Boston Beer shareholder, and while their beer is quite rare up here, the ones I've tried I find to be quite average.

So affordable, fresh and tasty. Killed a sixer and got another up for tomorrow.

Really? The past couple years I've really disliked this beer... too much sweetness and body, it just doesn't drink like I want an Octoberfest to. It's certainly not bad... but it's just not on my radar anymore for Ofests. Also, Ayinger FTW.

Pretty much where I am at. Except while Ayinger is one of the greats, I will take Sprecher or Capital first!

I missed Sammy's O-fest last year, but to me this years batch seems to have just the right amount of sweetness and body. I'll block your Ayinger with a Köstritzer, you lose.

I'll admit defeat, Kostritzer O'Fest is tremendously under rated, great beer.
