. . . . What is your main mode of computing? desktop, laptop, or phone? . . . for me; it was desktop for yeeeears but in the past 6 months have switched to my laptop for 90% of my shenanigans... . . it will probably be a good decade before i get into the phone side of things though... . .

I seem to remember this coming up before... Laptop. For almost everything. The transportability allows for easy hook-up to my stereo to blast a concert from Wolfgang's Vault through some great speakers. I am years (probably decades) from owning a phone that connects to the internet.

How old are you guys? [;)] I primarily use my laptop. But most of that is chatting and word processing. I probably do about 1/3 to 1/2 on my phone. This includes most of my email, weather, forum reading and some video watching. I sometimes post pics to FB from my phone.

For 25 years it was always a desktop. Not including my work laptop, which seemed like a desktop since it was always on a docking station, I never regularly used a laptop until a year ago. I bought my first laptop and suddenly I used it 100% of the time. Then it died and I've been using a smartphone for all but a few hours of the past month lol. It's amazing what you can do with a smartphone now, but my first choice is still a laptop. My wife has had a netbook for a couple years, but I don't like the small screen. She did get a monitor for it today so it's not bad. Now the only thing I don't get are tablets lime the iPad. I thought it was a fad that wouldn't last a year but I guess I'm wrong. My wife has been bringing one home from work this past month and I don't care for it at all. To me it's a glorified iPhone that is impossible to type on.
