We were given a bunch of free Sam Adams Imperial Series beers at a great little store in Chicago this Spring. They were the old labels so I'm assuming the distributor or Sam himself gave the store owner authority to give them away.....who knows who cares. Moral of the story is I came back w/ 2 four packs of the Impy Stout and a four pack of the Double Bock (which always needed a year on it to be great). The Imperial Stout ages wonderfully in my opinion, have no idea how old these actually are but much better than when fresh. Very nice beer with some time, kudos to Sammy for another quality offering. So yes Suds age some and you should be a happy Texan.
