I can only offer sympathy, no solution. When I had them, and yes I was a miserable SOB when I had them as well, it was a food allergy. I stopped eating the food that gave me the problem, plums, and no more hive. Massive dosages of Bendardyl helped my outbreaks.

Don't take steroids man. You probably are allergic to something. So keep an eye on what you're eating. Put some caladryl (sp?) lotion on it, that may help. Good luck Oiz.

Like I told someone else recently, try reincarnation and hope for the best. Just hope you don't find yourself living your next life in an ice age!

Don't doctor's have something to prescribe you? Sounds awful though.

sucks dude.. really! I had a good buddy in high school that had the same severe problem. We actually used to have fun with him, well we thought so- we were dicks, if you even just lightly scratched him with your fingernail, that spot would start a chain reaction... it was insane... but i wouldn't wish shit like that on anyone, but i think the rising temperatures must have something to do with it [B)]

Never had 'em, just seen pictures... I did have shingles on my side and back once in high school. I first thought it was a grass burn from football, but it got really nasty - and the grass on the field didn't help the healing process. Someone told me it was some sort of "nervous thing"... whateverthehell that means. haven't had a case since. Best wishes on healing up dude - its too damn hot to be miserable.

Ok...here's the deal...I have no choice but to pop the prednisone dose pack (the roids)....in the early going, they seem to have somewhat cleared things up, as I am feeling better....but like I said, I am concerned about weight gain (as well as other side effects).....my hope is complete the dose pack, clear up this mess, not go back on them after they are finished, and prevent further brekouts by using the anit-histimines.....that's my hope....what will actually happen is anyone's guess....and when it rains, it usually pours over here.....[:(!][:(][xx(][V][:(!][:(][xx(][V][B)][B)][B)][B)][B)].......

I've had hives 3 times. Exactly three times. How do I know this? BECAUSE IT'S SO FREAKING MISERABLE YOU NEVER, EVER FORGET. Sorry to hear, because I know what you are going through - I had them everywhere. Yeah, there too. Yep, there too. Even there. For me, they were a lot like chicken pox...only...everywhere. I guess I managed to stay away from the trigger all these years since, whatever it was. Sorry to hear and hang in there. Wish I had a solution for ya. I did have an allergic reaction to a "new" shirt a few years back and an oatmeal bath really helped, if you are a pocky mess then definitely try that, it relives the itching some.

Update....got off the roids, and I am now on the antihistimine Xyzol...It seems to be working as I have been almost bubble skin free for about 3 days now....I am cutting the grass 2day, so this will be a big test...Yes, you do remember every outbreak because it is very miserable....I would rather sneeze endlessly than have this..I think I have all of my outbreaks memorized, 1992, 1998, 2001, 2004, 2008, and now....I just want them to be gone and NEVER come back....and if beer were causing this, I'd fine a noose and end it all!.......[xx(][:0].....
