Mikkeller Question.....

General Beer Discussion by OIZNOP

I received a bottle of "Mikkeller Holiday Ale Brewed With Spices" for Christmas this year. The label is quite different from that of the Santa's Little Helper (with from/to lines for writing names). I am not sure what this is, as this is not listed in the huge list of Mikkeller brews (unless I missed something)in the BeerPal database. Can someone with a larger knowledge of this Danish brew clear up what this is??? Thanks. Oiz

My first guess is that it's Mikkeller's To From, which is a holiday spiced porter.

Next time, I will search the database a little more closely! That's it, Stout. Excellent. Thanks much. Oiz

Picked up a bottle of this and wow, was really happy with the product. For about $20 a bottle, this was a steal. I'd definitely go back and pick up a few more.

Angel's Share is my affordable favorite, and I drink it slow, so it lasts a while.

And, actually, bourbon has fallen in my preferred hard liquors. It's pretty much scotch and cognac for me. Tequila, vodka, and others don't work for me.
Good call on the Evan Williams. I also enjoy that one and the price is definitely right for about $20 for a 750ml. I really enjoy scotch as well, but seems rather pricey when I look for the ones I know and enjoy. If there's any good buys out there, please...let's hear 'em. Balvenie and Glenfarclas are two of my "go to" when I have a few extra bucks to spend.
Picked up a bottle of this a few weeks ago for $27 Extremely impressed, aroma is amazing.
