Pick a decade!

Non-Beer Discussion by CLASH

Ok the forums are dead so ponder this.....What decade do you like the most? Obviously you live through many but what decade would you want to be in living up your prime? I was a child in the 80s and and a teen in the 90s. But I think I would pick the 80s or 60s. Both seem exciting in thier own way. 70s and 90s seem lame as hell! You?

The late 60s into the early 70s were a fun time (love the music). I recall my parents talking about how much fun the 20s were (age of jazz, so many radical changes, the carefree lifestyle-even without beer). My college days were the mid to late 70s and that was a wild time.....no draft to worry about as my older brothers did....and drinking age in NY was 18. And yes, Upstate Dave, you DID have a good time in the late 80s, although some of it was a bit foggy for our group....but it sounds like we had a great time!

It's a tough one for me. I'd like to see what the 70s was like as an adult, but as a kid it was perfect. Otherwise I'd say the 80s if I could wash reagan and nancy out of it. Though now I'd probably think it was funny.

I've always thought I was born about a hundred years too late...

definitely a toss up between the 70s (Classic Saturday morning cartoon) and the 80s (Better music). I thought the 90s were rather lame in terms of music, movies, and television.

I should've been around in the 60's. I don't think anything beats the counter cultural movement that happened then. The war, the music, the entire American culture- changed the world forever.

I remember some of the sixties and what I do remember was that hippies were smelly (not just from patchouli, but also from not bathing and spilling bong water on themselves) and that they said "Maaaan!" and "Peace, Man" a lot. They were also the ones running our park programs in the 70s.

In the 90s, you listened to 80s! So did I though.
