Best Porch Beer

General Beer Discussion by FLASHPRO

OK, we had the "best patio beer" thread. So what about the best porch beer? It's gotta be a 40 :p Luckily, my house doesn't have a porch.

In Reply To #1 My first thought was a 40 of a good quality Malt Liqour, as well. :p

In Reply To #1 You guys must be urban. Here Busch tall-boys are the status quo for porch drinking. Usually I'll see a red-neck with a mullet guzzling one while sitting on a $4 lawn chair from Wal-Mart and listening to Skynard. Whew-hoo! Freebird! Good times, man, good times.

PBR makes a great porch beer or anything in a can so you don't have to worry about broken glass. Cans are also better for throwing the empties in to the yard. I really like Chimay but a porch or patio beer it is not.

In Reply To #3 Ah yes, there are definitely two different cultures there. The ghetto porch and bumblehill porch

Exactly...ghetto porch dwellers prefer their finely crafted brews in fawties while homusredneckus prefers mostly the fine brews of Natural Light, Bud Light or Miller Lite (Corona on Sundays). True denizens of redneckville often drink PBR or even give 'em a Black Label, Mabel (only available in certain areas.) As far as glass/can preferrence, it doesn't really matter if the empties are thrown into the empty engine compartment of the car with the grown up grass which sits on cinder blocks.

In Reply To #6 Homusredneckus. I love it. I don't understand why your porch dwellers in Alabama drink all that light beer though. They've seen the 'ice' beer commercials, i presume?
