Sounds like a pretty good line-up to me. Definitely Cox for NL Manager of the year. Certainly a year no one expected the Braves to go anywhere, much less win a 14th consecutive division title.

Agree all around, except Cano will be AL ROY, and maybe Torre will lock down AL COY considering his wins during injury hardships. Not to be Yankee biased or anything.....

ROY - Myke's picks sound fine with me. NL MVP - Andruw Jones AL MVP - David Ortiz (if you bring up the DH argument, then I think Andruw Jones is a much more obvious choice as the NL MVP since he plays Gold Glove centerfield as opposed to below average first base like Pujols) AL Cy Young - Johan Santana NL Cy Young - Chris Carpenter will win, although no one has been better than Andy Pettitte down the stretch Managers of the Year - Cox and Guillen probably should win, but give Ned Yost some credit for getting the Brewers to .500.
Being a homer, I'd love to see Andruw Jones win it, and believe he's deserving. No one with more GWRBI, homers, RBI and certainly no one plays a better center field in the NL and maybe in MLB. Only problem is his low average and late season mini-swoon. For every "expert" commentator I've seen mention these facts, I wish they'd counter with how many late inning homers, go-ahead rally hits and homers he's had. Fact is, when Chipper was hurt and kids were brought up, Jones CARRIED the Braves. As far as Ned Yost, he's a good candidate and I wouldn't argue his winning, but still think Cox may have done his best job to date.

Cox should win. I just haven't heard a lot of people bring up Yost's name, and he should be mentioned. The first non-losing season for the Brewers since I was in high school (1992).
