Fish or Cutbait?

General Beer Discussion by DREWSESLU

I've got a big dilemna, which means you all have to answer this essay question. The hop harvest is coming in...should I spend my next paycheck on bulk hops or should I order some beer online? If beers, which ones? If hops, which ones?

Well is it possible to have the best of both worlds, spend half on hops and buy some good brew to tide you over while the homebrew is processing. I don't home brew so I have no reference on the hop selection and the online brew depends on what you can't get locally and style preference. Good luck and I would cut the bait then go fishing!

Breweries not distributed here: Victory, Stone, Alesmith, Sweetwater, Harpoon, etc. Hops not at the LHBS: Amarillo, Warrior, Tomahawk, Magnum, Styrian, etc.

Go for the hops. The beer isn't going anywhere. Maybe you can make a run to Chicago? [:D]

The winner: cut bait When I get paid we'll see how many lbs of hops I can order then.

I've been brewing fifteen-twenty gallons a month. So expect me to be reviewing much less, but brewing much more! Besides, for those bigass West Coast IPAs using up to a half lb each five gallon batch, I need hops in bulk!
