Am I missing something or is it not possible to subscribe to forum threads? If not, why not?

OK, here's another question; is it possible to get a straight answer in this place?

Hey, you catch the show tonight? Good stuff. They had lots to say about BeerPal. Most of it good, even.

You could just go www.thebrewingnetwork.com and download the archived show and hear it for yourself [;)] But actually, Justin ranted a little about some of the comments made in this forum, he read one of the PMs that I had received from one of the less enlightened members of BeerPal (which I included in the PM I just sent you, Todd) and then went on to say how interesting the BeerPal web site is, how much good info there is here and how he hoped our two communities could work together to spread the word about good beer and not worry about supposed competition from other beer-related web sites. Basically that we all should RDWHAHB. But the phrase " www.beerpal.com " was uttered at least half a dozen times. Free advertising for you, no remuneration expected! [;)]

I'm the owner of BP and the sole code writer for the site. I'm not sure what you mean by "subscribe to forum threads". What exactly is this? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I can't reply without knowing exactly what you'd like to do. I've been in ireland for 20 days now without real internet access, so I have no way of replying to anyone in a timely manner. Sorry.

Flash, on almost every other forum I have ever been on, you can "subscribe" to any thread you have posted in. Generally there is a box to check to do so. Then, any time there is a new post to the thread, you are alerted via an e-mail that contains a link back to the thread. Very convenient.
