[:)] I guess you knew this was coming eventually by someone so I will start it off....As I have said in many of a review, Don't like excessive hoppage giving beer that grapefruit juice like feel to it....Sorry all of you IPA fans, but I just don't get it...Also hate excessive wheat character like in a Belgian Wit...That tastes like liquid cardboard....and of course, no one likes skunky beer.....[:D]

That is intentional or unintentional? For something that seems to be purposefully done, I absolutely detest the sour character that a lot of American wheats contain. Give me a banana and clove hefe any day. As far as unintentional, I can struggle through skunk, but not sourness due to infection.

Sweetness...., especially cloying sweetness, that clings to my teeth, coats my tongue, and wrecks my palate for the rest of the evening. In other words, many a "Red Ale", that happens to be nothing more than a brewery's or brewpub's standard Pale Ale, with a ton of cheap Crystal 40L dumped into the mash. Yeah, I'll look red alright, but more often than not end up sugary and cloying. Bah. //TB
