You have to admire that guy. I hope he starts making money on the beer he is selling. I agree, forget wine snobs and drink beer.

In Reply To #3 Come on, don't knock wine! You ever had some serious homemade wine? It is wonderful, and the folks who are into the vine are every bit as dedicated as any brewer. Out west, who are the best of friends? Let you guess...reply #7 You bet, as much as I despise fruit in bier and ale, it sure makes for some fine wine. One of the best I ever had came from figs using wild yeast. Potent and delicious. Come Yule Tide here in Deutschland-Gluhwein is the holiday warmer. Again, death to spices in bier and ale, but hot spiced wine on a bitter cold day is amazing! Served warm, the name translates to "glow Wine" and that is just what you will do! Of course most of the Deutsch wine is so bad it needs spice... (with a few exceptions), but that is another story. This message was edited by Brad Pear at 4/28/2005 5:04:34 AM.

I like good ol' muscadine wine, that stuff is great! Spiced wine is great too and you can make both with the right material.
