Brewed in Selva, Mallorca, at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, our beer is a traditionally brewed natural ale, full of flavour. Our brewery is situated in the main square of Selva in a 17th century building that forms part of the rectory of the Parish Church of St Lawrence. To brew a quality beer we use the best ingredients : Belgium/German malted barley, English hops and water from the Tramuntana mountains. The traditional brewing process starts with the mixing of the grain with hot water to obtain the wort which is then boiled with the hops which act as a preservative and provide the bitterness and flavour. During the next stage yeasts is added to the wort and the fermentation process transforms the wort to beer. Finally the beer is bottled and during a secondary fermentation the beer is naturally carbonated. The ideal temperature for drinking our beers is between 3° and 7° to discover the subtle flavours of cereals and hops. We recommend you store the bottles upright due to the natural sediment. Salud !
