In the belly of the Macquarie hotel you’ll find the SCHWARTZ BREWERY, a state of the art 8hl microbrewery on show for all to see. You can experience all the processes from grain to glass and watch Head brewer Michael Capaldo bottle his finest brew in a purpose built bottling plant. Our beers are handcrafted in small batches from the finest natural ingredients, have no additives or preservatives and brewed without compromise. Brewery Tours Brewery tours are held each Wednesday from 2 pm and last about one hours. The cost is $15, and finish with a sample of our beers. Bookings are essential, and can be made by call the brewery on 02 8262 8800 or at the bottleshop at the hotel.
