Originally comes from Chechoslovakia, from Plzen. It is a very light coloured, dry beer and has quite some body. The one we brew here, is in this style, hopped only with Czech Saaz-hops, a high profile and very expensive variety. It is also filtered, as most bottom-fermented beers are.
