Oceanside Ale Works founded in 2005 in Oceanside, north San Diego county, by a local teacher and firefighter. The teacher and firefighter were inspired by European traditions and committed to innovations venerated by West Coast brewers. We use brewing methods to craft fine regional ales of great quality, character, and taste. A reputation for excellent ales has won many awards across the USA and locally at the Del Mar Fair. Oceanside Ale Works has Pier View Pale and San Luis Rey Red and seasonal ales made from Old World recipes with a Southern California interpretation. The brewery is located in the heart of the city of Oceanside and is one of the few manual brew houses in the USA. Pride of local ownership guarantees a promise of quality only a brewer/owner can give. Meeting high quality, taste and consistency standards is a testament to our commitment to quality brewing. Oceanside Ale Works is one of the few manual brew houses in the USA. Oceanside Ale Works is a small microbrewery located in the heart of Oceanside. All beer is manufactured at this location. Check out our tasting room and enjoy the brew at OAW. Public Hours Thursdays 4:00 – 8:00 pm Fridays 4:00 – 8:00 pm Saturdays 12:00 – 4:00 pm Beer tasting, 64oz growlers (Beer to go), kegs, and brewery merchandise (T-shirts, pint glasses, and growlers) can be purchased in the tasting room.
