Not sure the abv is as advertised on RB. This ale has picked up lots of wood for only 3 months in the barrel. Maybe charred oak? Almost cedar like in it's finish. This is the red wine version that has picked up some obvious bugs to make it a bit fubky, though at this stage not overly so. Significant improvement on the base beer.
