Our beers are superior because of the brewmaster's attention to detail, his complete love of brewing and the freshness of the beer. The beers are named in the spirit of the history of Folsom, CA. Lockdown Brewing Co. exhibits the rich history of Folsom and the Folsom Prison through its identity and labeling. Folsom was home to many firsts. It was the home to the first Railroad in the West and the first city to transport electricity over the wire over several miles, 22 to be exact. The prison is California’s second oldest and has been made famous thru media like Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” and the movie "Walk the Line".
