Our passion is to locally produce quality craft beers and to foster community involvement with commitment and integrity. In November 2007, Bill Drew and Jonathan Cort partnered to create Craggie Brewing Company, a hometown brewery, with passion for quality craft beer and strong community values. During development, Bill honed his recipes with feedback gathered from complimentary tastings offered to the public. These well-attended events involved the community in the cultivation of Bill’s recipes and in selecting the styles that Craggie would ultimately have on tap. While Bill brewed, Jonathan began promoting the brewery through Facebook, catapulting its “Friend” list into the thousands! During the Summer of 2009, the partners asked Simone Seitz to join the Craggie family to handle the business and marketing side of the company, so Bill could focus on the craft and Jonathan on sales. In November 2009, two years after its inception, Craggie (or two guys, a girl and a brewery, as Bill refers to the team) opened its doors for business with significant local support and, some damn good beer!
