Our American interpretation of the famous West German classic from the city of Cologne (Koln). This style is a characteristically Hybrid mix of Ale-Lager character, sometimes referred to as the German Pale Ale. It is technically brewed as an ale, like all German beers before Lagers came on the scene in the late 1800s. It has a wonderful bouquet of Estery-fruity flavors intermixed with malty-sulfury character, along with a balanced hoppy character. It’s a biergarten in a glass!

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7
pours a hazy yellow color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily to a film. The aroma is of grassy hops, fruit and malt. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and biscuit malt. The taste is fruity with a mild hop aftertaste.
