bought a bottle of this to celebrate England's Ashes victory. Flintoff the king! this is an ok beer, certainly nothing too special but hey, I am happy to drink anything now that England are any good at cricket again!

i have to take into consideration that it is indeed designed to be drunk, over and over again, in front of the cricket or maybe even at lord's. so with that in mind, it would be an ideal session beer for a cricket game. refreshing and bitter, pours a good soapy head and dry enough to leave you wanting another. not complex, not strong or robust, just a proper english bitter that's made with cricket in mind. PS: australia have just won 5 series in a row, and england STILL think they have a chance in june - sep. still, it'll be the bst ashes in years.

Poured an amber colour with thin white head. Hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste. A bit bland with somewhat of an yeasty aftertaste. Thin bodied. Probably the worst Young's beer I've tried. Average.
