Britain's most favoured light ale, often mixed with Young's Bitter. Pale amber in colour with a complex but clean and slightly fruity nose. A satisfying blend of malt and hops, more bitter than the average light ale. 100% malt brew: Maris Otter and crystal malt with Fuggle and Golding hops. Available in selected Young's pubs and from selected take home stores.

Bottle@Wenlock Arms. Copper colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is hops, slight metallic notes as well as some malts. Flavour is pretty much the same and leaves a dry palate.

FYI, this beer is not a mild but a light ale. Bottle,in the Buckingham Arms (Young's pub), Petty France, London. Amber coloured, light bodied, quite highly carbonated. Sort of like one of those lagers that’s good with a curry. Lightly sweet, bitter and malty.
