Bottled. Reddish amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is plum, raisins, some mild sweet maltyness as well as mild herbal notes. Flavour is raisins, sweet malts, fruits and some floral notes. Old bottle, but nice to see some hops have survived as well.

This beer was not bad at all for a spiced ale. I typically only enjoy these beers during the Christmas and winter seasons; however it was quite enjoyable in the middle of May in the UK. The beer smelled of spice and plum pudding. My biggest criticism of this beer was the viscosity - it was a tad sticky for my liking. Other than that it was a rare treat that I likely won't have the opportunity of enjoying again any time soon.
