    500ml battle into pint glass. From ALDI, Riverwood. Pours mahogany/red with foamy cream-coloured head. Light carbonation. Sweet malt nose with a whiff of drinking chocolate. Medium body, light texture. Easy drinking. Finish is smoky caramel with hints of raisins. Not bad, certainly more flavour than a lot of other bitters.
