Fresh off his cart is No.4. It’s an unpasteurised shimmering blonde concoction of fruits. Instant refreshment with an insanely fragrant aroma. No.4 is the first of the good DR’s elixirs to emerge from his apothecary. We expect more brews to follow from this enigmatic character.

500ml bottle into shaker. From Aldi, Riverwood. Crystal clear golden amber beer with foamy white head. Some lacing. Light carbonation. Nose is slightly floral and slightly malty. Flat mouthfeel, bitter taste. Bitter finish with just a late touch of musk sticks. Run of the mill ale.

Pours a clear, light golden-amber colour with a frothy white head, good retention and some sticky lace. Beautiful perfume aromas with fruit notes. Honey eventually comes out making the nose sweet. Flavours are quite mild, but with more of the grain and hops. Still, a nice light blonde ale that is refreshing and way better than any macros of this alcohol content.

Pours a good size frothy white head and has a straw/almost pale golden appearance. Ok lacing. Aromas of yeast, wheats and light malts. Flavours of sweet malts, mild grains and wheats. Some fruity notes as well as some light hints of yeast in the finish. Pretty good retention. Lively carbonation.
