Uzený is built from the ground up with an extremely soft water profile, emulating the water used in the breweries of Pilsen. Floor Malted Bohemian Pilsner Malt offers its fullness and deep honey biscuit flavor, and a small but sturdy dash of Smoked Barley leads subtly into the familiar herbal, grassy experience that fine Czech-grown Saaz hops offer. Uzený is fermented cold with a distinct & classic Czech lager yeast before conditioning several weeks and finally filtered to brilliant pale clarity for an optimally clean drinking experience that’ll keep you vibrant all afternoon.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pint can pours with a crystal clear pure golden body that supports a thin white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The modest aroma offers up spicy hops and a faint sense of lemon. The taste delivers a pleasing depth of spicy Saaz bitter hoppiness rounded out nicely by the thin slightly sweet pils body. To midway it picks up faint rauch malts as the Saaz hop bitterness peaks and begins to wane. Such a great Czech pils.
