Introducing QUEEN SNAKE, a 11.2% Imperial Stout... Our last anniversary release we decide to brew and bottle our Imperial Stout base we use for all of our King Snake Barrel Aged beers. Expect intense notes of fresh roasted coffee, dark chocolate, toasted rye and a smooth caramello finish. This one will age beautifully.

Rated June 2022. 50cl bottle pours with a nice deep dark colored body that supports a thin tan head of short lived foam. The aroma offers up and invites you in with a blend of tempting chocolate and deep dark roasted malts flowing into a roasted coffee sensation. The taste begins with full deep competing notes of dark roasted malts and rich dark chocolate yum. To midway the dark roasted coffee bubbles to the surface to create a sense of nuttiness and faint sweet dark fruity esters. Toward the finish the full thick high ABV thins this out a bit creating a bit of a break from the overall flavor bigness and richness. Great sipper. Might need more.
