An extra decadent riff on our OG imperial s’mores stout! Brewed up with our best stout bud Kyle from Horus Brewing. This is one of the first imperial stouts to come out of our Prescott facility and we are over the moon with the result. Our big fancy system allows for high mash efficiency and very precise boil control. We fit as much rich flavorful malt as we could in that mash tun. Boiled for hours & hours with additional complex sugars. Once we hit our target gravity we fermented on a blend of house ale yeasts to 12.2% alcohol, still leaving a considerable amount of unfermentable sugars behind. We then conditioned it on DOUBLE the cocoa nibs and DOUBLE the Madagascar vanilla beans as our standard predation. Followed up by just enough cinnamon and marshmallow to complete the s’mores experience. It’s s’mores, but extra

Rated July 2021. Pint can pours with a deep dark colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up plenty of inviting dark chocolate notes as well as a blend of milk chocolate, marshmallow and a sense of vanilla. The taste delivers smooth supple deep dark velvety chocolate riding side by side with some dark roasted to faintly burnt malts as well as a growing sense of sweet dark fruity juice like esteriness. This is a solid sipper but the juice and slightly thin body distracts just a tad from the rich deep balanced sipping experience.
