Pie Thief is our take on a Pumpkin Wheat Wine made with local, roasted pumpkin and a house made spice blend that includes cinnamon and all spice. This batch was then aged for nearly a year in Wheat Whiskey barrels to impart oaky and sweet whiskey goodness.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

Rated Nov. 2016. Bottle pours with a clear golden amber body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up inviting pumpkin meat notes flowing into malt sweetness, a dash of caramel and then mild boozy bourbon. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of sweet malts, dash of molasses and then a load of tasty pumpkin meat. To midway the bourbon booze treatment wells up to the surface and not really adding to the experience. Solid beer with a yummy pumpkin goodness.
