We seriously cannot wait for y’all to try this new batch of our 10% Pumpkin wheatwine, Pie Thief! For 2021 we decide to do an “à la Mode” version, boiled a little longer for a thicker, sweeter body and finished with lots of decadent vanilla. It’s by far our favorite iteration of Pie Thief and we think you’ll love it. Limited small batch this year, get it while it lasts!

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

Pint can pours with a deep mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up cinnamon and varies sweet smelling dark fruity notes like cherries, raisins, plums and then dates. The taste delivers smooth albeit a bit bright and disjointed sweet dark fruit notes of cherries, raisins and dates. To midway it picks up a sense of cinnamon nuanced sweet yams leading to a nice yet thin fresh rich vanilla goodness. This is pretty nice but lacks flavor integration and a sense of earthy reduced sugars that would really pull this together. Solid sipper nonetheless.
