Rated March 2021. Pint can pours with an inky black colored body that supports no head at all. The aroma offers up sweet malts and molasses kissed by soft bourbon, vanilla and then a bit of booze. The taste delivers smooth slick rich dark roasted malts sweetened by molasses and then moving into a spicy whiskey sensation. To midway the flavor complexity moves up another notch as vanilla and more barrel character is noticed. It ends with a lingering supple bourbon whiskey mingling with slick sweet reduced sugars and booze. Great sipper.
