Rated Sept. 2016. Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up spicy hops, floral hops and then thin sweet bready to cracker maltiness. The taste delivers bitter spicy hops, floral hops and then some thin sweet bready like malts, sweet pilsner like malts and then more spicy to floral hops into the finish. Overall this has great hop bitterness and crispness but the malts are still too sweet and heavy and prevent this from reaching its Kolsch potential.
