Introducing DOUBLE VANILLA KING SNAKE (2021), a 13% Imperial BA Stout... Double Vanilla King Snake IS BACK. This batch took a nice, long, 12 month nap in some absolutely primo Buffalo Trace Rye barrels. From there we conditioned it on heaping amounts of Tahitian and Madagascar vanilla beans. Notes of caramelized sugar atop decadent creme brulee, vanilla bean ice cream, and rich fudge brownies. A real treat.

Rated May 2022. Black waxed 12oz bottle pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports really no head at all. The aroma offers up dessert like notes of boozy fudge flowing into inviting vanilla bean goodness. The taste starts with a deep pleasing blend of booze, chocolate fudge and caramel and then heading into a growing and then lasting rich vanilla yum. Another sip reinforces the molasses and caramel reduced sugars midway and into the finish. The booze is there and not at all distracting but rather integral in balancing out the sweet bottomless richness. Great sipper. Dang.
