Comes out of the tap a rich coffee brown, no head but that may be from the pour. Rich mocha aroma has a strong overtone of rum, as well as notes of molasses and caramel. Rum-soaked wood dominates the flavor, imparting a sweetness and a zing that adds nicely to the notes of molasses, chocolate, caramel and quality coffee. Texture is viscous and smooth, though he fizz level could be a wee bit higher. An excellent way to celebrate the third anniversary of Atlanta’s A-#1 brewpub!
