Dark Muse Imperial Stout is a big, complex and dark malty ale with roasted characters of coffee and molasses. Alcoholic warmth blends well with sweet chocolate, vanilla, and toffee aromas with finishing notes of earthy tobacco. Awaken your muse. ​ Our 2016 vintage Dark Muse slept for 13 months in freshly emptied Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels. We blended in a small amount of 2017 Muse to balance the intense Bourbon aromas and flavors. This vintage picked up a pleasant amount of oak and adds a small amount of dried fruit and hazelnut to the already complex Dark Muse profile. ​
