This is just lip-smacking good. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is strong chocolate, smoky roasty coffee, burnt dark fruits, molasses and caramel, with a strong piney hoppy presence. Up front is a load of smoky coffee and burnt chocolate, very thick chewy malts, with a very strong pine and herbal hop attack. Despite the strong flavors, this one remains very drinkable, and smooth as glass. There should be more collaborations between D8 and Willibrew.
