Whoa Nelly! is what you might say as you drive down 151 and stumble upon the breathtaking views of Nellysford, Virginia. We are proud to be located in this gorgeous, ‘one horse’ town - so much so, we took our Scottish style brown ale (formerly our Wee Heavy) and dubbed it Whoa Nelly. Whoa Nelly is a coppery Scottish style brown ale that combines roasted caramel malts with just a bit of smoked malt for a delicious, drinkable brew. We think you will be exclaiming “Whoa Nelly!” after your first taste.

Taps clear mahogany with a nice pale buff head. Aroma features roast malt, caramel and dark fruit notes. FlVor delivers all hat the aroma promises, and adds some woody hops to the mix. Firm body presents good fizz. Whoa Nelly!
