Our take on a classic Belgian style golden ale. A uniquely Belgian aroma and spicy flavor created by a generous addition of hops.

got from an in person trade with Lindsey624, thank you sir, enjoy your DFH ... . . my 2nd brew to kick off cinco de mayo (1st was joose dragon shared with scoobs during the 3-1 semi win for man utd vs arsenal, CL final here we come!)..
Pours a slight murky golden hay colour .. Has medium foam, with extremely good lacing...
Happy to say, Flavour is awesome! light sweetness, light bitterness: playful flavours within, honey, yeast and a eerily awesome honey cornflakes taste, wonderful!!
i didn't even get a chance to mow her...
sweet light aromas in the nose, This brew so far is really respectable and truly Belgian inspired...
The best widmer i have had, and honestly the only one that i would recommended (highly), and i would buy it again!!

Sampled on 4/18/2009. This Belgian Ale pours a light orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, some orange, some spices, with a touch of yeast. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy and herbal. Some of that Belgian yeast and ester flavors as well. Nice balance. Decent carbonation. Its not quite a Belgian Ale as it could be a little sweeter and a touch spicier, but it is very drinkable. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Either I am not a big fan of the style or I just didn't like this beer very much. Pour is golden orange with hardly any head. Aroma is yeasty, with some fruits and spice. Mouthfeel is oily--to the extent that this beer sticks to the tongue. Taste is similar to aroma. Just didn't really do it for me.

'09' pours a golden orange body with very little carbonation or head, some lace left behind. Aromas of spicy yeasts, some fruit notes as well, however all were on the faint side. Mouthfeel was average with a light carbonation bite. Flavors were the same as your average belgian ale slight fruit, spices and some yeast. Although good, the aroma and flavor were a bit on the light side for my tastes. Overall it is a decent, drinkable representation of the style.
