We took our delicious Russian imperial stout and put another new twist on it. our brewers threw Ecuadorian cocoa nubs into the brew to create a decadent and complex beer that is sure to hit your sweet spot. you’ll find flavors of cocoa, roasted barely, and coffee balanced out by a unique hop profile. Strong, smoky aroma has a surprising woody hop component, as well as a chocolate undertone and hints of licorice and molasses. Pours a luscious black-coffee brown with a very thick dark tan head. Rich, mouth-filling flavor delights with a roast malt core, sweet chocolate overtone, and a fine chord of nutty, woody, licorice, coffee and earthy notes. Texture has good fizz and viscosity, though seems on the thin side for a stout. Whatever, a stout fit for a noble, maybe even a Czar.
