Pours out almost pure black with a nice tan head. The aroma is very powerful and be smelled a long ways away from the glass. The mouthfeel is rich and thick. The taste is very well balanced between the hops and malt.

'12 rendition, in a bomber from Central City. Poured a non-carbonated clear amber, minimal head. Only a hint of booziness in the aroma, and some malt. Smooth mouthfeel. Boozy flavour, along with malt and vanilla. Liked it.
