Vixen stout was our first Christmas beer in our reindeer series. The beer was brewed with 75lbs of orange zest and 20lbs of Ecuadorian toasted cocoa nibs. We set aside four bourbon barrels for three months to create an exceptionally complex and rich beer with a brightness from the orange peel that somehow keeps everything balanced. A great pairing for dessert or a snifter of bourbon.

Comes out of the tap a luscious sable with a nice light tan head. Smoky aroma has a firm bourbon overtone. Flavor is mainly apply bourbon, with smoky, coffee and roast malt notes plus a honey sweet hint. Firm, viscous texture has fizz to spare. Foxy Lady, Foxy Beer!
