Pours deep coffee brown just a shade above sable with a thick and fairly persistent cocoa head. Aroma yields roast malt, chocolate, bready and rich nutty notes, demanding a taste. Flavor delivers roast malt, chocolate, pecan, bready, subtle molasses and coffee tones. Texture offers firm, heavy body and peppy fizz. A great beer to start 2019!
