This traditional cider made exclusively from freshly pressed apples is dedicated to the Chancellor, who contributes nothing to its production but insists on takin 25 pence per litre in tax. The APPLES that are a vital ingredient of this product have a commercial value of around £75 per tonne. Once this tonne of apples is turned into cider the chancellor is confident of rceoiving £180 tax from this same tonne of apples! Not surprisingly most cheap commercial "ciders" do not contain many apples.

Bottled, Golden colour, small foamy white head. Aroma is tart apples along with some notes of wood and yeast. Flavour is tart apples with some slight sour notes as well as mild alcohol. Apples in the finish. Very mouthdrying.
