At a distance of 24 kms, the Tay Tow Path was used to tow Flat-bottomed barges to transport provisions upstream to Perth. The tow path between Weatherhead's depot and the warehouses that lined the Perth basin still exist today, forming part of the Rideau Trail, and is located directly beside our brewery on Riverside Drive. This traditional German Pilsner is perfectly simple. It's crisp and smooth, with mild floral bitterness that finishes moderately dry.
