Beer in Germany has been brewed to the Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) since 1516. Walkerville Brewery Purity Pilsener has been brewed to these stringent German brewing regulations using German malts and hops. Hand crafted in small batches. Dry and crisp, this pale yellow beer has a subtle grainy flavour. The late addition of German Hallertau hops – a traditional aroma hop – gives the beer a light floral aroma balanced by a crisp bitterness to the finish. Draught. Colour – medium gold, clear, large frothy white head, lasts several minutes. Aroma – grassy malts and herbal hops. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, crisp, with above average carbonation. Flavour – grains and yeast leading to a hoppy finish. Simple, yet elegant.
