Vejle Brewery Imperial Stout is deep black and with a delicious chocolate brown foam. It is a strong beer with a pronounced aroma of roasted malt, espresso and a hint of smoke. The taste is distinctly rich and dominated by dark caramel, burnt sugar, chocolate and roasted malt. A complex and warming beer when darkness falls.

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Quite much pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is dark dry fruits, sap, liquorice, mild caramel and tobacco. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, toasted notes, mild dark fruits as well as some wooden notes. Rather balanced, but a thin as for the palate.
