Tasted on tap at brewpub. This American Strong Ale pours a medium amber color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy and caramel, sweet, floral and earthy. A medium bodied Imperial Red/ASA. Malts are caramel, toffee and medium sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral, very juicy. Touch of sweetness at the start, but lots of juicy hops, toasty malts and then some more hops. Big carbonation. It’s a way ramped up amber, malty, hoppy and tasty. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some lingering malts

Another brew on tap that I sampled. Hops plays a major bill in the aroma department along with some sweet malty character. Taste is very well balanced and throughly enjoyable. The bitterness in end doesn’t let you forget what you are drinking. Well done. Deceiving at nearly 8% too.
