Late Harvest Wheat Wine is a beer which is brewed with 50% 2-Row Barley and 50% White Wheat. The beer is fermented first with Witbier Yeast and then finished with both an English and American Ale yeast. A small amount of rock candi is added during the boil.

    Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This barley pours a deep amber color. Small to little head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. It has a touch of late harvest Gewürztraminer as well. Medium bodied Barley wine. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy. Sweet and fruity and very complex. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
