Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This barley pours a deep amber color. Small to little head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. It has a touch of late harvest Gewürztraminer as well. Medium bodied Barley wine. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy. Sweet and fruity and very complex. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
