A barley-wine style ale. The strong malt character and dark color is produced using a long boil and the fines British and American barley. Rich fruit flavors and aromas are balanced by a pleasant bitter taste. The finish is long and lingering, making the drinker want another...that and the 9% alcohol content.

Pours clear caramel, minimal beige head. Aroma offers toasted malt and slightly tart fruit. Flavor features tropical and pomme fruit, toasted malt, sharp woody and caramel notes. Texture has fair fizz and OK body. Warm your winter.

Maybe it's because I've been in a bit of a Barleywine drought, but this sure was much needed and a tasty as hell B-wine. Pours a clear mahogany, not a lot of carbonation, but just right. Molasses, caramel, hops and a little hotness on the palate. Flavors are very sweet and incredibly enticing.

Raisin, plum, bread, caramel and citrus scents tease the nose. Amber-brown body along with a frothy tan head and spotty lace. Light to medium bodied, balanced and easy. Oat bran, toffee, raisin and brown sugar flavors dominate a relaxed profile.

Pours with a deep amber-red body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a touch of caramel and an underlying piney hop note. The aroma is slightly sweeter than the flavor. Medium to full bodied and slightly warming.

Poured a copper color with an off white head and nice lacing on the glass. Spicy, sweet, malty aroma. Spicy, slightly bitter, alittle note of alcohol in the end, but I would not have guessed this was a barleywine.
