Pours coffee brown with a thick and frothy though not long-lived tan head. Aroma presents rich, decadent chocolate, almost too sweet, plus roast malt, caramel, fresh coconut, hints of molasses. Flavor offers decadent chocolate, sharp and bitter woody hops, roast malt, caramel, molasses - and is that a bit of butterscotch? Texture furnishes good firm body and peppy fizz. Seven layers of terrific beer.
